The experience takes place in the quiet countryside near San Gimignano, perfectly located between Florence and Siena. After a short introduction to truffles and the trained dogs used in this ancient Tuscan tradition, you’ll head into the forest alongside Domenico, following the dogs as they search for truffles hidden beneath the soil.
Domenico grew up in these woods, learning the craft from his grandfather and continuing a family tradition that dates back to the early 1900s. Every hunt is different — truffles are never guaranteed — but thanks to his deep knowledge of the land, the chances of discovery are high in every season.
At the end of the experience, each participant will receive fresh truffles to take home, along with simple tips on how to store and cook them.
