Day Tour from Florence: Chianti Wine Tour with Two Wineries, Tastings & San Gimignano Visit (Small Group)

Tour was sensational, we really wanted to combine a day trip between the wineries and San Giminiano and was perfect: itinerary, time to walk, wineries, tasting, transport and guide!
The two tastings are excellent, both with cold and other accompaniments for harmonization and for this we do not miss the lunch.
One of the wineries has a beautiful view of San Giminiano and it was too much to visit.
Valentina who was our guide was very kind, lively and communicative, bringing relevant information and tips, with great energy.
As for the smaller group, it makes the ride more reserved, with the transport van air-conditioned, comfortable and in excellent condition. The period of mid-morning and mid-afternoon is essential, for those who enjoy enjoying comfort without a 12-hour ride on the road.
If you are in Florence, it is worth taking the day for this tour. We would repeat!

We had the best time at this tour! Both wineries were so fun and unique experiences. The small group was also really such a benefit of the whole day, it made it feel not so touristy. Francesca was also amazing! Informative, helpful, and you could tell she had good relationships with the winery tour guides which I’m sure also helped lead to an even better experience!

Our wine tours with Alessandro were a dream! We visited two beautiful wineries and explored the medieval town of San Gimignano, learning about the region’s history and winemaking, the first winery was beautiful and the second felt very homey with amazing views of the town. Alessandro was the perfect guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. We shared great laughs, made new friends, enjoyed delicious bites, and even had the option to ship our favorite wines home. A truly perfect day in Tuscany— everything I pictured!

This tour was GREAT! The two vineyards were a great balance of one more commercial and the other more small operation. They gave us a ton of wine and the VIEWS! Incredible! The experience at the 2 vineyards were very different - one more high end, lots of options, great food, entertaining host, GREAT options for shipping. and the other was more home town small operation feel, incredible view, gave us a tour of the facility, view of SG, and just a great experience and delicious wine! It was perfect to have the two types of experiences. After that, we had about an hour in San Gimignano, enough time to walk up the hill, get gelato, go in a few shops, check out the church, and hit a few view spots! I really enjoyed it! My guide Luigi was absolutely wonderful. He shared great knowledge on the way, was very engaging, got us all visiting with each other, and provided great insights. I saw him the next day leading another tour in the city and he was so kind and just as excited to see me. He’s clearly very knowledgeable and made the experience special!

Best Tuscany Wine Tour! This was a 360degrees wine and medivial experience of Tuscany we could have asked for and this tour has a LOT of wine. Definitely recommend.
